Protect Vital Bicycle Funding Programs

According to the League of American Bicyclists, a Jobs Bill was just passed a week or so ago in Washington that requires 2.2 billion dollars in transportation funds to be given back.  It's urgent that we let Governor Perdue know how important it is not to target the programs that fund bicycle projects. States must report which programs are affected by August 25th.

Click here to read the full article and take action by filling out the form at the bottom to share your interests and concerns with Governor Perdue.  Let her know that programs in North Carolina that support bicycles are a necessity in maintaining and creating livable streets and more friendly communities.
